Welcome to Future Fostering

Future Fostering aims to provide experienced and committed foster parents who, together with its professional staff, undertake a wide variety of specialist work with children and young people in care, as well as giving them the stability and security of a normal, nurturing home environment.

We will offer 24×7 services to placing local authorities and our foster parents will be available to accommodate a child in care at any time of the hour.

Future Fostering foster parents will be given a high level of 24×7 support and access to professional help and advice, which enables foster parents and children alike to feel safe. In addition, the carers will be given training tailored to their individual needs, which will be identified at regular meetings and reviews. We would actively encourage all our carers to undertake formal training, to seek NVQ accreditation and to meet CWDC training and development standards.

All our foster parents will be provided with Foster parents Handbook and we would help the carers to comply with Future Fostering comprehensive policies and procedures. We will make sure that the homes of foster parents are ‘risk assessed’ and foster parents would be expected to work within Future Fostering Health and Safety Policy.
